I am an autistic adult, and I like to read research about various topics, including health, cognitive health, autism, and crime. I also like sharing what I’ve learned, so this is why this blog exists.

Only recently have clinicians realized autistic adults exist, so I read almost every study and post a few here. I don’t agree with the framing of every study I post, but I believe it’s important to know what kind of research is being done, so that’s why I still share them.

Sometimes, I will add my own thoughts, critiques, or perspective to the summaries if I feel it is helpful. Other times, I simply present the main conclusions as they are. I try to make it clear when something is my own commentary, so readers know what to expect and can form their own opinions.

I work full-time, and I’m currently experiencing autistic burnout, so I can’t always stick to a weekly update schedule for this blog. However, I aim to post at least once a month. If you’d like to be notified when new posts are published, consider subscribing or checking back regularly for updates.

I hope you find these summaries of research articles helpful.
